2025 Honorees and Memorials

The From the Heart program was established in 2000 by Marcella “Marcie” Michels Taylor as part of the Tree of Joy and Remembrance installation during the holidays. Created to recognize individuals who have made a difference in our lives, the From the Heart Book provides an opportunity for donors to honor friends and loved ones, and recognize loved ones no longer living. Living honorees and the family of those being remembered are sent an acknowledgement notifying them that their name or the name of a loved one is listed in the pages of the book.

On display each year from Thanksgiving through December, the tribute serves as a centerpiece for Museum holiday activities.
