Though Ruscha is most associated with Los Angeles, he is originally from Oklahoma. See and read about works from Ed Ruscha: OKLA, a recent retrospective at the Oklahoma Contemporary, here. Bonus: you can listen to a Spotify playlist based on Records (1971), Ruscha’s book compiling album covers from his personal collection.
