An interdisciplinary collaboration between the Art Museum of South Texas (AMST) and Dr. Pattison’s film and literature class in the spring semester of 2024. For the second iteration of this collaboration, Dr. Pattison, the students, and an AMST staff representative walked in downtown Corpus Christi, experiencing the push and pull of political forces across the urban landscape. After presenting at AMST, Dr. Pattison’s class projected their interpretive maps of the downtown experience onto streets and buildings during ArtWalk. Their projects focused on themes of psychogeography, decomposition, and surveillance.
