Creative Conversation Series 2021

Each year the Art Museum of South Texas presents 10x10, a conversation series that celebrates the variety of creativity in our community. This year we interviewed ten local social media “influencers” who communicate their message with creativity. Our current exhibition, Influencers and specifically the work High Priority by Edward Ruscha, inspired this year’s theme. Borrowing Ruscha’s high impact aesthetics and direct sense of humor, AMST set out on a mission to find the phrases that our chosen creatives repeat over and over again. We slid into these influencer’s DMs and started a conversation with the simple question “What is your creative mantra?”
